Cliff Richard’s celebrity persecution for 1980’ies sex crimes

More hysterical nonsense about Cliff Richard and Jimmy Savile. Britain’s witch hunt continues. Famous entertainers get prosecuted for "crimes" they allegedly committed 40 years ago, during the sexually liberated 1960’ies and 70ies. They get charged with alleged "child sex" with 15 year old more than willing "children", or, more absurdly, *rape charges by women who somehow were not able to clearly say "no".  These men were so famous, they needed security guards to keep the screeching teenage girls away.

The source accused the police of organising a “fishing expedition”, claiming that the raid had been carried out in an attempt to generate the maximum amount of publicity. Telegraph

The prosecution is based mainly on "mutual corroboration": if 4 women, independently, allege the same type of crime, it must be true. In the case of a common violent criminal this is likely to be true. In the case of a celebrity known by 30 million women, it is quite likely that a few psychologically imbalanced women join the fray.  After all, they can earn fame and money.  Prosecution is also based on "recovered memories", long debunked by Elisabeth Loftus. And on rape accusations that are most likely false. Cliff Richard, like Rolf Harris and Jimmy Savile, is famous enough that his case was quoted in German "Der Spiegel". Thanks to the antifeminist and his commentators for furnishing further details on the British celebrity sex  hysteria.

It is amazing that the sex hysteria persecution goes against fairly decent men, and not against the 70’ies rock bands that were famous for sexual debauchery with adolescent groupies. Maybe the purpose  of these sex witch hunts is to instill fear in the common decent man?

In the sexual liberation of the 60’ies, 70’ies, age of consent was considered repression of the past. A faction of the German Green PartyGerman Green Party  openly favored abolition of age of consent laws, the maligned Rind Study showed that no damage can be shown to arise from *consensual_ underage sex.  

    When will anyone learn that if you carry out a police-media trawl of any and every celebrity, then inevitably a line of variously motivated complainants comes forward? This is just as would be expected no matter how clearly innocent is the target. And they don’t come much more obviously innocent than Cliff Richard.

20 years ago Woody Allen was found innocent.

“We had two hypotheses: one, that these were statements made by an emotionally disturbed child and then became fixed in her mind. And the other hypothesis was that she was coached or influenced by her mother. We did not come to a firm conclusion. We think that it was probably a combination.”

The PC press does not tell you that the above was the conclusion of a half year long inquiry that convinced eminent researchers that Woody Allen was innocent.

On April 20, 1993, a sworn statement was entered into evidence by Dr. John M. Leventhal, who headed the Yale-New Haven Hospital investigative team looking into the abuse charges. An article from the New York Times dated May 4, 1993, includes some interesting excerpts of their findings.

“The Hunt”: false accusation of child sexual abuse. A movie review

 

Lucas is a nursery school teacher in a small Danish town who is wrongly accused of sexually abusing a child. The film documents how he is ostracized by the community as a result.  Wikipedia

Great. False accusations, sex hysteria, in a (almost) mainstream movie that wins prizes in the Cannes film festival.

The film stirs indignation via the blind ineptitude with which Grethe addresses the allegation, involving a seemingly under-qualified external child psychologist, colleagues, parents, and eventually, police. But what’s even more upsetting is Lucas’ helplessness to correct the misinformation, given that Grethe refuses to tell him the source or even the exact nature of the charge. While witch-hunt stories like this one peaked in the news some 20 years ago and have been dramatized on TV and film before, The Hunt is still shocking. That’s thanks to the skill with which Vinterberg, Lindholm and editors Anne Osterud and Janus Billeskov Jansen modulate the crescendo of paranoia, judgement and injustice.

Adding to the sorrow at the drama’s heart is Klara’s confusion. Even when she volunteers that it was a silly thing she made up, her mother (Anne Louise Hassing) muddies her grasp of the situation with leading talk about the repression of unpleasant memories.

Adult hysteria is the main problem.

Let me stress, this is a very benign case because there is no intelligent adult maliciously and actively promoting false accusations, like in divorce proceedings.

Meredith Maran (My lie): False accusations due to “repressed-memory”-of-child-abuse witch hunt

Meredith Maran’s recent book “My Lie” describes how Meredith accused her own father of child abuse and rape. She was fooled into this by then fashionable feminist witch hunt invention of “repressed memory”, that a third of all kids were sexually abused and just had forgotten. She is sorry for it, but does not quite see the monstrosity of how she almost destroyed her father’s life.

In the middle of the book, while you are still deeply in the mind-set of being molested, there’s a notion you agree with that if one innocent man goes to prison, but it stops a hundred molesters, it’s worth it. Do you still agree with that notion?

I’m fairly close to a man still in prison, and really believe he is innocent. I know how he’s suffered. I know he’s 80 years old and in ill health. He’s spent 20 years in prison, for no reason. If every elementary school child is now taught how to protect themselves from sexual abuse — and even more to the point, some father or preschool teacher who feels the urge to molest a child will be inhibited from doing so because they think there are guys still in jail for doing that — but innocent people are in prison, do I have to make that choice? It is a Sophie’s choice kind of thing. Would I allow an innocent man to sit in prison if it meant keeping children safe?

So would you make that choice?

Meredith Maran did not learn. She has a little pity for a guy whose life has been totally destroyed by 20 years of jail in spite of his innocence. No total outrage. No desire ti fight for justice (to make amends for her own injustice).

She still suffers from brainwashing by more recent feminist fables. Meredith Maran  is sorry she destroyed her father’s life. But Meredith wants to totally destroy the life of a totally 100% innocent guys in order to save children from some indecent fondling? In this blog I make it a point that even the true culprit of indecent fondling of a (real) child deserves much lighter punishment then decades in jail. But Meredity wants that the totally innocent guy rots and gets raped in jail?

I use the word “real” child, denoting 3, 5 or 10 year old, because feminist laws
nowadays define 17 year olds as “children”

A child molestor is a guy who talks to children in creepy ways, who has indecent wandering hands. A guy who takes photos.  An old grandpa who is getting a little too cozy. Or a 20 year old having sex with a 15 year old. Some reason for concern, yes. But feminist propaganda confounds senile grandpas with slight errors of judgment and violent penetrative toddler mutilators and (real) infant rapists.

I use the word “real” rapist, because all the above indecent behaviors
nowadays are officially called “rape”, causing total confusion.
