lol… doesn’t surprise me, but I’d like to point out that in my experience showing this to someone of the “anti-racism” camp, will only get you a response that goes something like “People of colour are accused more often, and to longer and harsher sentences, than whites for the same crime. Plus there is so much racism going on in the court system that of course blacks are going to be convicted so frequently!”

Funny, homosexual males are largely overrepresented in pedophile crimes, at least according to the “mainstream” statistics; yet those statistics are somehow alaways used in DEFENSE of homosexuality, i.e. “gay men are not pedophiles and they aren’t looking to rape your children! In fact half of convicted pedophiles aren’t gay!”
Guess they’re being overrepresented by the homophobic Justice System?

hey man nice blog, I’ve only just found it so this is only about my 3rd or 4th to read…I’ve actually been considering for the past few weeks doing some sort of politically incorrect stats type blog. So finding this was like finding buried treasure. lol. Anyways, as I said I haven’t gotten far into this blog yet, but I was wondering if you might know anything about the whole “blaming the victim” line used by PC-obsessed feminists? I’d find it hard to believe there’s no alternative perspective, in any area of contemporary academia; for instance, it seems to me that in another context, for instance if a family left their lights on, car doors unlocked, front door wide open, and are victims of a gangster B&E — were they “asking for” such home theft? Is saying they should’ve been more responsible and secured all their sh*t, “resident shaming”, or “victim shaming”/”blaming”)? LOL. In my mind, wherever there is a crime/injustice, there is a victim and a perpetrator, therefore all scenarios, regardless of severity, magnitude, etc. of the crime, ultimately will delegate similar responsibility of role in a crime to all involved (with the exception of minors, perhaps..in which case it may fall in part on the parent(s)…)

I’ve heard VERY, very little about this new idea of “victim facilitation”, though I’m not sure how much more appealing that is, and again, I can’t believe there’d be a lack of literature backing general ideas of victims’ roles in crime, particularly when vulnerability was not even close to minimized (as in my hypothetical theft/B&E example.)

Anyway I’ll leave with that, off to browse some more.
