Swedish MP reported herself to police for possessing child porn, in a bid to get Swedes to question CP laws.

Moderate Party MP Maria Abrahamsson chose on Wednesday to tell Swedish police that she may have child pornography at home. She told them that she had a copy of the Dagens Nyheter (DN) newspaper, which last weekend contained an illustration showing a child surrounded by half-naked men.

Abrahamsson is a known critic of the current Swedish law, which makes no distinction between photographs depicting sexual violation or assault of a child or children and illustrations showing similar scenarios.

According to the Svenska Dagbladet (SVD) newspaper, Abrahamsson petitioned parliament last autumn to amend the text of the law. She argued it should distinguish between photography and non-photographic art.

Her latest attempt to raise awareness on the issue follows DN’s publication on Saturday of a reproduction of a painting by US artist Tala Madanis, whose work is currently on display at an exhibition in Malmö. The artwork shows a child in a crib surrounded by men with their genitals pointing at the child.

The newspaper’s editor Peter Wolodarski defended the decision to publish the reproduction.
"I agree that Swedish law is unclear and problematic," he was quoted as saying.
"But the picture in question has nothing to do with child pornography crimes. We wouldn’t have published it if we thought it broke the law."

Abrahamsson, meanwhile, wants Swedish police and prosecutors to investigate whether she has broken the law by having a copy of the paper at home.
SvD reported on Wednesday that the police had opened an investigation into the case.

A Swedish parliamentarian has reported herself to the police for possessing child pornography, in a bid to get Swedes to question the current laws.

The photo in question can be found here. I would rather not re-publish it here.

Maria Abramson’s action is a great start. Of course she was playing safe by keeping a copy of a recent edition of the country’s biggest Newspaper.

  • She might as well turn herself in for having a copy of The Blue Lagoon. which by today’s standard obviously is child pornography (underage actors depicting underage characters in sex scenes) See also Copine Scale.
  • Of course, it would be more courageous if the MP kept a 1970’s collection of `normal mainstream Newspapers (The Sun from Britain with 15 year old nude page 3 girls), or German youth magazine "Bravo" with nude 15 year olds sex education articles, or Playboy. Or "Der Spiegel"

In 1978, Britain’s newspapers had nude girls on page 3, Holland  legally distributed hard core porn with 16 and even 15 year old girls, Germany’s reputable "Der Spiegel" put a 14 year old nude on their cover, and all over Germany, nudist magazines showed nude boys and girls of any age frolicking at beaches.  The only reason that Video store owners don’t get arrested DVD’s of "The blue Lagoon" and "Taxi driver" is that this would cause a scandal and would expose the ridiculousness of the CP (child pornography) witch hunt. These mainstream movie films have underage actors depicting underage characters engaging in sexual activities. Pure child pornography.

Children were taken from their parents into protective custody for over a month, because of pictures taken at bath time. Parents lost their jobs, spent US$ 75,000 and got registered as sex offenders. This is an example of how the child porn hysteria goes totally overboard. (This is not an isolated case, here a…

  1. Larner:
Actually I wish more feminists and paedocrites would follow her example and get themselves locked up (where they belong) and there’d be fewer of them for normal people to deal with! LOL

  2. Being jailed for a cartoon, perfect example comes from the guy who got federal prison time for hentai and the other guy who also got prison time for Simpson’s porn.

The feminists logic of victimization and child abuse cannot apply to cartoon pictures, but why are these people going to prison? Is it because they somehow victimize a cartoon character?

And not just Blue Lagoon, the sequel, Return to the Blue Lagoon features a 14 year old Mila Jovovich topless. Or the Kelvin Kline pictures of a 17 year old topless Kate Moss.

How are those not CP? A 17 year old topless Kate Moss is probably just as “sexually explicit” as almost all teenage sexting today. Why are kids being arrested for sexting and people not arrested for the Kate Moss pictures?
