Age of Consent

Here are 10 key points/memes to memorize and spread as far and widely as possible regarding the age of consent, and in particular, the validity of discussion of the age of consent, both within and outside the men’s rights movement :

1 / If the discussion of sex laws had always been taboo/forbidden, then homosexuality would still be illegal. Homosexuality is illegal in many countries, and being criminalized in several others. If we disallow discussion of (changing) sex laws in the West, we will be in a poor position to prevent similar attempts to suppress even discussion of the rights of homosexuals in countries where homosexuality is illegal. We criticize Russia for making it illegal to ‘promote’ homosexuality to children, yet those same ‘liberal’ progressives want to make it illegal to ‘promote’ (i.e discuss rationally) lowering the age of consent or to criticize any laws ostensibly protecting children. If discussing ‘child protection’ laws had always been off limits, Alan Turing would still be considered a child abusing pervert (he had illegal sex with a boy under the age of majority at the time).

This post fits into the Thilo Sarrazin discussion, because it deals with taboo speech that makes it impossible to engage in rational discussion and scientific search for truth. I recommend reading my Sarrazin reviews, especially the ones still due to be published. See also Robert Kurzban.

It of course fits into our Human-Stupidity age of consent and teenage sexuality discussions.

2(and relating to 1)/ The age of consent in the UK was set at 16 (raised from 12/13) in a backward Victorian criminal amendment act (1885) that also criminalized homosexuality, punishable by death. The same law that Alan Turing was prosecuted under. Ironically, it is now effectively taboo to criticize one half of that backward 1885 bill (the age of consent of 16) and yet taboo, and even illegal, to support the other half of that same backward Victorian bill (the criminalization of homosexuality).

3/ The age of consent was set at 16 by puritanical feminists (suffragettes) in the UK, and that same bill (and age of 16) was a model for similar rises in the age of consent in the USA and elsewhere (also lobbied for by feminists/suffragettes). This is an important point to stress within the context of men’s rights.

Brazilian government intervention stops USA sales of Adidas world cup T shirt!

  Adidas’ "Looking to score" T shirt objectifies Brazilian women and encourages sex tourism. The T shirt was spotted in San Francisco, reported by Brazilian’s powerful "O Globo" news conglomerate. The sale of a T-Shirt inside the USA was stopped by meddling Brazilian government intervention. Frantic action by the Brazilian president, the ministry for politics for women, and the ministry for Human Rights (all women) and Embratur, the Brazilian made sure that US citizens can not buy terrible T shirts that allegedly objectify Brazilian women and encourage sexual tourism.  Adidas apoligized for their mistake and immediately pulled the T-shirts from all stores (Source: O Globo)

The tentacles of feminist poltical correctness’ have global reach and originate from the highest echelons of governments.

Adidas Sexualized T-Shirts Are Just Plain Wrong fumes the Huffington Post:

The head of the Brazilian tourism board is slamming Adidas for marketing a pair of tee shirts that play off stereotypes of oversexed Brazilians.

In advance of the World Cup, Adidas has released a pair of tee shirts inspired by Brazil’s reputation for sexiness. One shirt features an image of heart that appears to double as a woman’s behind with a thong, while another depicts a thin-waisted woman with a giant rear against a Rio de Janeiro backdrop and the words “Looking to Score.”

The “Looking to Score” message presumably refers to both soccer goals and having sex with Brazilian women.

How terrible. Men wanting to have sex with Brazilian women. Interestingly, men desiring sex with Brazilian men is politically correct:

The head of the Brazilian Tourism Board Flávio Dino blasted the shirts in comments to the local press, saying they would encourage illegal activity.

What illegal activity? Sex with Brazilian women is legal, and prostitution is legal too. The age of consent in Brazil is 14, though ever expanding laws about "corruption of minors" effectively turned it 18 for practical purposes.

The new moral crusaders’ terror: the limits of free speech in Germany (Thilo Sarrazin book review #2)

PC (Political correctness) " tolerance"  is intolerant.

PC demands tolerance towards all "minorities"  but is inherently intolerant towards the majority.

The limits between socially acceptable and legally allowed freedom of speech are unclear. S/he whose expression of opinion treads into these realms, need not fear legal sanctions but can count on social sanctions.

This includes everything from moral condemnation and social ostracism to libel, personal defamation, ridicule of his person, slander and bullying. Because of the perceived breaking of taboos, which consist of speech outside the social consensus, many critics and especially their followers perceive no need to seriously deal with the contents of the criticized statement or to even make an effort to mentally absorb and understand the content [of this taboo speech].

Thus, tolerance turns into intolerance: […] who deems marriage a matter between a man and a woman is blamed for discrimination and homophobia. Who sets forth the Catholic position on homosexuality, is marginalized in talk shows. 23 The calls for tolerance thus easily turn into intolerance towards those [dissenters] who indeed tolerate PC opinion, but do not consider such it as morally equal.

PC police terror is intolerant even towards those dissenters who are tolerant of PC creeds.

Actually, Sarrazin is still too optimistic: hate speech laws are restricting legally allowed free speech, with the US the only bastion of constitutionally protected free speech. 2  3 4 5

People who were persecuted in former communist East Germany notice that they are persecuted again in " free" West Germany.

Selling millions of book copies is living proof, that Thilo Sarrazin‘s freedom of expression is not repressed.1 Deceptively false PC (politically correct} logic ignores that Thilo Sarrazin got removed from his German Central Bank job, Sarrazin’s house gets paint-bombed, Sarrazin’s events disturbed with whistles, tomatoes and stinking feces.  Thilo Sarrazin should be punished, the United Nations demanded of the German Government.

Nudist non-sexual child photos, legal in Germany: trouble for MP Sebastian Edathy and Merkel’s government

 

 Edathy pornography affair: The story so far

Among the ring’s customers was Edathy, who is said to have ordered material from the site between 2005 and 2010. The material consisted of pictures of naked boys assumed to be between nine and 14, in various poses, but not involved in sexual activity. The possession of such pictures is not illegal in Germany.

That is interesting. In Germany, possession of harmless photos of young children naked is not a crime yet. You can see such young children live on the innumerous nude beaches in Germany.

Human Stupidity has trouble understanding, or explaining to children, why photos of 100% legal acts, or cartoons of such acts, can be such a terrible crime. On the other hand, videos of terrorist beheadings, made exactly for the impact on the viewer and the publicity,  are legal.

The scientific truth is that accessible porn reduces rape and prostitution, countering the voodoo theory. Of course, the child sex trauma myth lobby can only ask for harder punishments

Germany’s Child Protection Agency demands that any commerce with pictures of naked children must be penalized. Justice Minister Heiko Maas also comes out in favor of stricter laws.

A huge international police inquiry because of a few photos of naked boys, which happens to be legal in Germany. Have we no other problems? Millions of obese and sedentary children have their health and future destroyed. The Euro crisis causes massive unemployment and might lead to civil war. And we care about a few nude photos?

Watch this video, one would never think that these were simple nude photos, no sexual activity or abuse.

Unfortunately, outside Germany we are not allowed to see or show the photos to understand what all the fuzz is about (Disclaimer)

"Good" police killing, firebombing "protestors" are defended by PC Western countries. The protesters want close ties with the European Union, while the democratic government wants ties with traditional ally Russia. Shoot Hooligans in self defense

We at Human-Stupidity are anti-violence. Hooligans that throw heavy cobblestones and Molotov Cocktails onto innocent police men (ahem police officers) should be shot in self defense. We proposed the same during London Riots and other riots. These cowardly hooligans will withdraw, once their violence is met with an equal response. 

We propose Human Rights for good citizens:

The Human-Right not to have one’s houses burned down, not to be attacked on the street, the Human-Right for good people should trump human rights of Hooligans. Good people should have the human right not to be attacked with deadly weapons, not to have their houses firebombed.

In the above video we can see an empowered woman throwing a cobblestone on a nearby police man (we doubt that many police women will be put in harm’s way). Why does police need to tolerate such a life threatening behavior? Yes: human rights are for criminals

We will show probable cause that it is much more likely for Mia Farrow to have used (false) sexual allegation in divorce strategy, than Woody Allen to have used a 5 minute gap to take a girl to the attic for fiddling

20 years ago Woody Allen was found innocent.

“We had two hypotheses: one, that these were statements made by an emotionally disturbed child and then became fixed in her mind. And the other hypothesis was that she was coached or influenced by her mother. We did not come to a firm conclusion. We think that it was probably a combination.”

The PC press does not tell you that the above was the conclusion of a half year long inquiry that convinced eminent researchers that Woody Allen was innocent.

On April 20, 1993, a sworn statement was entered into evidence by Dr. John M. Leventhal, who headed the Yale-New Haven Hospital investigative team looking into the abuse charges. An article from the New York Times dated May 4, 1993, includes some interesting excerpts of their findings.
