Women’s suffering emphasized, men’s suffering ignored. An evolutionary mechanism?

Women have a special talent to paint themselves as victims and engage men as "white knights" to help them in that endeavor. The even higher level suffering and plight of men is just getting ignored. Human-Stupidity suspects that this manipulation skill is due to evolutionary built in mechanisms that women learned in the gender war, to counter men’s superior strength. It is to be noted that the limiting factor for child production (and thus inclusive fitness) is the number of women’s wombs, not the number of men. As Angry Harry puts it: men are dispensable.

Women are always the victims. In rallies, women "take back the knight" at safe campuses, requesting safety for women no matter how drunk. Nobody mentions that statistically men are more frequently victims of violence and homicide. Women stress rape culture, re-defining rape to include ever more minute transgressions like 5 second rape (failure to instantly stop consensual sex).

Women, engaging the help of men, manage to raise public awareness about rape while ignoring prison rape. Prison rape is extremely violent, and often entails years of sexual slavery and repeated rape. Prisoners who "consent" to years of sex to avoid violence don’t even count as rape victims.

Media focus on rapes and other female miseries while ignoring male executions, worked-to-death laborers, tortured prisoners, and nine-year-old boy soldiers trained to kill and be killed.

Kristof, published June 5, 2005 in the New York Times under the heading, “A Policy of Rape.” Says Kristof, “More than two years after the genocide in Darfur began, the women of Kalma Camp—a teeming squatter’s camp of 110,000 people driven from their burned villages—still face the risk of gang rape every single day as they go out looking for firewood.” Now, of course, this is an abomination that demands attention. It is also an abomination that receives attention. My concern with this article comes from what’s missing—at least up until the very end. “I’m still chilled by the matter-of-fact explanation I received as to why it is women who collect firewood, even though they’re the ones who are raped,” says Kristof. “‘It’s simple,’ one woman here explained. ‘When the men go out, they’re killed. The women are only raped.’”

The United Nations, even in security council resolutions, explicitly excludes men and boys when they talk about sexual violence against women and girls. The United Nations spokeswomen squirmed herself out of the topic, distracting but not recognizing the United Nation bias against male victims.

The above movie focuses on male rape. it still ignores other types of violence that is selectively anti-male.  It mentions that 20% of male combatants got raped, vs. 30% of women. It does not mention how many men got killed, nor that there probably are not many female combatants.

Way over 50% of rape accusations are false. 7.4% blatantly enough to prosecute (Bavarian Police research report)

1894 complaints of rape and sexual assault were filed to police of the state of Bavaria in 2000.  The consensus estimate of all responsible officials is that way over 50% of accusations are false.  Even when accusations are very dubious, police still file rape/sexual assault proceedings with prosecutors. Only in 7.4% of the complaints (1 in 13, N= 140) they propose legal action against the accuser for evidently false accusations, when there is clear proof or confession. The results of this meticulous 320 page research about rape and sexual assault in Bavaria replicate a less rigorous study in Schleswig Holstein state in 1994/1995, where 7.6% of complaints led to filing of false police report.

 

The following 320 page study analyses police inquiries of rape and sexual assault, and how police forwards these cases to prosecutors. It is based on all 1894 such complaints in the state of Bavaria/Germany in the year 2000. It  deserves to be translated into English in its entirety.

  • Police officials agree that way over 50% of accusations are false

  • Even highly dubious and unlikely accusations will be forwarded to prosecutors for rape/ sexual assault prosecution, and not for prosecution for false accusations. This is why statistics show such low numbers for false rape accusations.

  • Only 7.4% of accusers are recommended for prosecution as false accusations (due to clear evidence or confessions)

  • 64% of rape/sexual assault cases dropped by prosecution for lack of evidence are considered false accusations by the police official in charge of the initial complaint

  • Thus 1/5 to 1/3 of all cases were identified as patently false accusations, by  the responsible police officials.

  • Human-Stupidity concludes that false rape is under-reported at least 7-fold

6) Faking of or false suspicion of rape or sexual assault

In 2000, among all events, that initially appeared to police to be a cases of rape or sexual assault, only 7.4% were were registered as faking of a crime or false suspicion.  In almost all of these cases there is strong evidence of these crimes [of falsehood]. Cases that remain doubtful and unclear after police inquiry will be handed to prosecutors as accusations of rape or sexual assault. (p. 176)

Police rarely send prosecutors accusations for false rape or sexual assault. This seems in stark contradiction to the [high] frequency estimates (by officials and police responsible for sexual crimes) of such false accusations . These [officials] estimate that such crimes have a very high occurrence, but don’t have statistical research data collections to back up such estimates. One department chief maintains:

"All officials dealing with sexual crimes are in agreement, that way over half the sex crimes reported to police are fake. Many such accusations cause an assumption of a sham or false accusation. But proof is not strong enough to prosecute [the accuser]. (p. 177)

The authors explain, that even in cases where there are very strong doubts about the truthfulness of the accusations, police will only file an accusation of rape or sexual assault, and not one of false accusations. This is why the statistics seem to contradict the above "over half" false accusation statement.

Let this sink in. There are clearly more false accusations then there are true accusations. Police authorities from the Christian conservative state of Bavaria/Germany agree that most rape/sexual assault accusations are false!

The report makes clear that proof of false accusations is very difficult, absent a confession of the alleged victim. In all these cases,  there will be prosecution for rape/sexual assault and not for false accusations, even if there is significant doubt as to the veracity of the accusations.

While the serious psychological and social consequences of rape and sexual assault have been the subject of various investigations, knowledge about the impact on the falsely accused is lacking. The data for our project do not permit us to arrive at definite empirical conclusions. […]

When accusations are dropped due to lack of corroborative evidence and  witnesses, then,  in spite of very significant doubts about the crime description by the alleged victim […] there always remains a residual suspicion because the accused can not totally disprove the accusation. (p. 180)

[…] adding 1754 cases recorded as rape or sexual assault for the year 2000, and 140 false accusations, yields 1894 transactions which the police initially considered rape or sexual assault.  Only 7.4% resulted in charges of false accusations of rape or sexual assault. [… results in the state of Bavaria] correspond exactly to the results of a survey (without scientific rigor) in the state of Schleswig Holstein. For the years 1994/1995 it showed a 7.6% rate of shams and false accusations demonstrated "beyond reasonable doubt". (p. 182)

There is a 1 in 13 rate of obvious false accusations. (7/4%)

The authors speculate that under the assumption of a 3 to 10 fold under-reporting of rape, that would result in a 1 in 38 (3 fold under-reporting) or one in 125 (10 fold under-reporting).  On the other hand, some of the cases passed to courts as rape or sexual assault end with a conviction for false accusations.

False accusations of rape/sexual assault are under-reported 7-fold

The above conclusions are false.

  1. First there is no scientific basis to assume 3 to 10 fold under-reporting of rape
  2. don’t forget, that police experts only report 7.4% false rapes in spite of strongly suspecting false accusations in way over 50%  of the accusations. As mentioned, if in doubt, police file only for rape/sexual assault, even if they are  convinced the complaint is false.

So there is an over 7 fold under-reporting of false rape accusations by police! (7 * 7.4% = 51.8%, which is less then "way over 50%"). Police do  file rape accusations with prosecutors, even if they clearly believe the rape has not happened. And police do not file a false rape accusation, even when they are convinced that such a crime has happened. Probably they should file BOTH rape and false rape accusations at the same time!?

Clearly false rape is an under-reported crime. We need to encourage the victims of false rape accusations to come forward and counter-sue. As quoted in the report, it is the consensus that there are more false accusations then true accusations. Men’s Right activists can learn from feminists. They can demand the same treatment for alleged victims of false rape accusations as feminists have demanded and gotten for alleged rape victims.

In Britain, as in most countries, women retire at age 60, earlier then men (age 65). A clearly blatant sexist discrimination.

Analysis from the Men’s Network showed that men live 13 years in retirement whilst women enjoy 20 years. No mention from Saga and Unions Together on that point?

Women live a few years longer (Interim Life tables), work shorter years (due to child rearing vacations), contribute less to retirement funds. Women don’t pay appropriately higher retirement contributions during their work life, rather men pay for women’s longer retirement. In Brazil, to get full retirement benefits, women need to contribute for 30 years, men for 35.

Jörg Kachelmann rape trial without evidence

The Jörg Kachelmann rape trial is the sensational trial of the year in Germany. A famous TV anchor whose program once went viral on YouTube, sex, multiple girl friends delight the rainbow press.  Serious press organs like "Der Spiegel" and "Die Zeit" arrived at the sensible conclusion that there is absolutely no evidence to support the accusation (or rather,  it appears to be a painstakingly planned false accusation).  In spite of mounting evidence to the contrary, feminists, led by feminist Icon Alice Schwarzer continue convinced that Kachelmann is guilty and accuse these press organs of partiality.

Rape trial without evidence

The so-called objective evidence in the rape case against Jörg Kachelmann, allegedly held by Mannheim Public Prosecutor’s Office, doesn’t exist. Several expert witnesses have so far testified in the rape trial. None found any supporting evidence that Jörg Kachelmann raped Simone D. On the contrary, the evidence contradicts the alleged victim’s story.  Additionally, the alleged victim, who had accused her ex-boyfriend of raping her at knife point, had to admit to having lied and fabricated some of the evidence herself.

On the other hand, the court painstakingly interviewed various ex-girlfriends of Kachelmann, who had absolutely no knowledge about the  alleged incident, but could only smear Joerg Kachelmann’s reputation. Some girl friends earned major amounts for interviews in the rainbow press, but at the same time insisted on privacy during their court hearings.

The prominent Swiss weather anchor Jörg Kachelmann, working for German television, was held in remand for several months before the rape trial held its first hearing, despite his claims of innocence, and despite the absence of any flight risk. Adding to this the non-existent danger of collusion, this jailing of a suspect, based on nothing but unproven allegations, amounts to breach of due process.

That’s how long the 5th criminal division has been searching for evidence to prove that the accused weatherman of the first German television channel raped his occasional mistress, Claudia Simone D. The search has so far been futile. In fact, as the case progresses, incriminating evidence steadily dissipates.

On 9 February 2010, the 37-year old Simone D. made a police statement according to which, after a row in her flat, Jörg Kachelmann raped her at knife point and threatened to kill her. The Mannheim Public Prosecutor’s Office had always made a public pretence of having objective evidence indicating the defendant’s culpability. This assertion, however, has been seriously challenged over recent months.

German courts deal with rape cases on a daily basis. That the Kachelmann proceedings have turned into a mammoth case without an ending in sight is not unrelated to the fact that investigators spent weeks interrogating the victim/witness without questioning her statements. The Kachelmann case proves beyond doubt that, in this day and age, no potential victim of a sexually related crime need fear the authorities. Rape victims humiliated and bullied by the police and judiciary were merely a post war phenomenon, now long gone, though still preferentially exemplified by women’s rights activists. Today, a woman who reports a rape in Germany can expect a maximum of discretion, understanding, solidarity and attention. The extent of this is demonstrated fully on Simone D.

The criminal investigation department accepted the rape story of Kachelmann’s girlfriend without any verification of her statement. In a remark made immediately after the report on 10 February 2010, the female interrogating officer from Schwetzingen wrote: “We feel the woman is making a credible impression”. When questioned by the court six months later on the basis of this evaluation, the police officer was unable to respond.

Credulity and naivety – unexpected qualities in a judge – were also displayed later, in the witness statement before the Mannheim District Court by the custodial judge, who ordered Kachelmann –pleading innocence – to be held in remand on 10 March 2010. The judge stated, as reason for the arrest warrant, that Kachelmann’s version, according to which he first had consensual sexual intercourse with Simone D. but then left after a jealous outburst from her, simply did “not appear plausible” to him. In addition, he held it on assumption that “someone who accuses another of committing a criminal offence would be telling the truth”.

Accusers are always believed. Especially rape accusers. In spite of evidence that false rape accusations have been a weapon of choice since biblical times and nowadays are endemic. Credible experts from police and academia estimate that 20% – 60% of rape accusations are false.  Of course, feminist writers vehemently disagree. (Additionally, most rape accusations are not about forcible rape in the traditional meaning of the word.

The Mannheim Public Prosecutor’s Office has also been supportive of the victim/witness from the beginning, although the woman, whose hopes had been dashed by Kachelmann, would have very understandable motives for a false accusation. The Public Prosecutors continued to support Simone D. even when, in the course of the investigation, she admitted to not only having lied in parts of her statement, but also to fabricating some of the incriminating evidence herself (see ZEIT file “Schuldig auf Verdacht” from 24 June 2010).

When her manipulations were discovered, at the end of April 2010, Kachelmann had already spent a month in custody. In spite of this the Public Prosecutor’s Office dismissed Simone D’s attempt to mislead the court as a “minor issue”.

The Hofstra rape case is an example where 4 men were jailed and on the verge of getting 20 year verdicts based on the contradictory accusation of one lone girls. Only video evidence cleared the falsely accused.

This clear bias in favor of accusers can be found world wide. The Obama administration ordered US colleges to convict rape suspects in internal administrative proceedings by preponderance of evidence, a far cry from "beyond reasonable doubt".  Add to this panel members totally biased in favor of the accuser, and a conviction is virtually assured, no matter how flimsy or patently wrong the accusation.
