Brazil’s World Cup repression of legal prostitution caused more violent crimes against prostitutes

Dilma Rousseff’s leftist feminist Brazilian Government  is ashamed of Brazil‘s world famous hot blooded prostitutes. Even though " prostitute"  constitute a legal profession, registered with the department of Labor, crackdowns have happened for almost a century, before every major international event in Brazil.

20140316_104503 The initiative causes crime and suffering, even towards the " victims" they purport to protect.  The closure of a well known short time hotel caused prostitutes to seek out other venues, like their own homes, where they became victims of robbery and other violence.

Almost all repressive sex laws inspired by feminists and religious zealots cause crime, sexual abuse, and suffering: repression of porn and child porn, age of consent laws, repression of teenage sexuality and prostitution. 

Nobody, not even men’s rights activists care about lonely and depressed men, for whom sex could bring a ray of happiness in their life. Very few care about prostitutes who are deprived of income to pay their rent, pay their school, or feed their babies.  Month long closure of a beach beer bar in front of Copacabana’s Fifa Fan Fest caused immense ruinous damage to the innocent businessman who can not prevent prostitutes from frequenting his venue. To no avail, prostitutes and their customers stood on the side walk and bought their beer from street vendors.

 

 

The World Cup of Prostitution: How the Soccer Tourney Is Affecting Brazil’s Sex Workers

Despite the higher rates, prostitution has allegedly decreased during the 2014 World Cup. The Observatory of Prostitution, an academic team affiliated with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, conducted over 2,000 hours of ethnographic research in the principal zones of prostitution in the Rio area (Copacabana Beach, Ipanema Beach, Centro Lapa, and Villa Mimosa), and host cities Fortaleza, Recife, São Paulo, and Brasilia, in order to “monitor the impact World Cup has in areas of prostitution in certain regions of these cities for the presence of foreigners.”

The study reached some interesting conclusions, including that the closures of Balcony Bar and nearby Hotel Lido led to “reported increases in violence and robbery” against prostitutes, since now prostitutes were being forced to bring clients back to their apartments. […]

France: 9 months jail for speech, calling politician a chimpanzee

Hate speech laws started with the good intention to prevent inciting violence: "Kill Blacks, gays, …..". Since then they went down a slippery slope, where a harmlessly uttered private opinion can ruin careers

  • Geert Wilders in court for offending Muslims (who threaten his life and already killed Theo van Gogh)

    Sadly, "privileged whites" heaping bananas on a black soccer player’s car is a much worse crime then "repressed Blacks expressing justified anger" throwing cobble stones or Molotov cocktails onto police and burning down neighborhoods of London, Paris, or Los Angeles.

    "Underprivileged groups" have the privilege to use violence with impunity. "Privileged White heterosexuals" have no free speech rights and get imprisoned for non-violent speech. Our legal system is back to the middle ages. Of course, academic researchers like J. Philippe Rushton or Arthur Jensen also get threatened with impunity, and the New Black Panther party can publicly threaten the life innocent "white" Hispanic George Zimmerman.

    Front National politician sentenced to jail for ape slur

    A former local election candidate for the far-right Front National (FN) in France has been sentenced to nine months in prison for comparing the country’s justice minister, who is black, to an ape.

    Anne-Sophie Leclere provoked a storm last year when she compared Christiane Taubira to an ape on French television and posted a photomontage on Facebook that showed the justice minister, who is from French Guiana, alongside a baby chimpanzee. The caption under the baby ape said "At 18 months", and the one below Taubira’s photograph read "Now".

    Leclere was an FN candidate in Rethel, in the eastern Ardennes region, for the 2014 local elections, but the FN soon dropped her and went on to do well in the March polls.

    On Tuesday, a court in Cayenne, French Guiana’s capital, sentenced her to nine months in jail, banned her from standing for election for five years, and imposed a €50,000 (£39,500) fine. French Guiana is an overseas département of France and is inside the European Union.

    French Guiana in South America is part of the European Union? Amazing. And a court in South America censors speech in Europe. Shocking. And they can not find a lawyer in South America who would defend her? Appalling!

    It also handed the FN a €30,000 fine, putting an end to a case brought by French Guiana’s Walwari political party, founded by Taubira.

    The court went well beyond the demands of prosecutors, who had asked for a four-month jail sentence and a €5,000 fine.

    Leading psychologist Dr Noreen Tehrani, who advised specialist child abuse detectives in the Metropolitan, Surrey, Thames Valley and Hampshire forces, said police were under colossal strain from the escalating demands to investigate ancient paedophilia, requiring her to spend her entire time soothing cops’ frayed nerves.
    She added that pressure from Westminster politicians forced police to divert attention from children at risk to historical cases. "They are just completely inundated with work, they are beginning to collapse. What I am getting are more and more exhausted officers. There aren’t enough officers in these specialist teams and they are overwhelmed," Tehrani said.
    The psychobabbler – whose own views on the merits of investigating past paedofiddling remained unknown — said officers were on the point of collapse, with many going off sick as a growing number of historical claims of abuse increased pressure on already busy teams.     The correct word would be ephebophile. But thanks to feminist and leftist language manipulation, the word "pedophile" now is incorrectly being used for attraction to 17 year old women, not just to 7 year olds.

    We even invented the absurd notion that 17 year olds cannot *consent to sex (except, maybe to another 17 year old, a discriminatory ageist notion.)

    Normal heterosexual sexuality can be a death knell.

    Recently a mediocre US football player boosted his carreer by coming out of the closet and saying he is gay. Were he heterosexual, nobody would admire him for his courage. Would he like 17 year old women, he would be arrested.

    Just scan the entire population to find the pedophiles!  Finally we can discover pedophiles and lynch them before they ever cause any damage. Or put them preventively on a sex offender list before they ever do any harm. After all, we imprison men for having indecent movies of themselves when they were younger 5, or photographing their 17 year old spouse or legal girl friend 6, which can not even be justified by the voodoo theory of child porn.  And all this even though free access to child pornography reduces actual child abuse, as proven by peer reviewed research by Professor Milton Diamond.

    Judge throws out George Zimmerman’s libel suit against NBC

    A Sanford judge today put an end to George Zimmerman‘s libel suit against NBC Universal.

    Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson ruled that the former Neighborhood Watch volunteer is entitled to no money from the media giant.

    George Zimmerman was ruined by undue and unjust persecution due to the perverse manipulation of public opinion by the press and the justice department. Like most PC (political correctness) lies [3] , this also remains unpunished.

    She issued a summary judgment in the network’s favor, meaning that unless an appeals court reverses her, the case is now dead.

    Zimmerman had filed suit two years ago, accusing NBC of falsely portraying him as a racist in a series of broadcasts shortly after he killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old, in Sanford.

    Editors shortened audio from a 911 call Zimmerman made to a police dispatcher the night of the shooting, making it sound as if Zimmerman volunteered that Trayvon was black and that he racially profiled the Miami Gardens teenager.

    In 1999, in the case of R. v. Sharpe, British Columbia’s highest court struck down a law against possessing child pornography as unconstitutional.[3] That opinion, issued by Justice Duncan Shaw, held, "There is no evidence that demonstrates a significant increase in the danger to children caused by pornography," and "A person who is prone to act on his fantasies will likely do so irrespective of the availability of pornography." [4]

    Academic Milton Diamond has shown that availability of child pornography REDUCES child abuse, because pedophiles can act out their fantasies and possibly masturbate to fantasy child porn acts. His suggestion is, for this purpose, to create specific artificial child pornography under circumstances that does not traumatize children.
